Another touching, great read from L.P. Dover!
I love that every book I read by this woman has believeable characters. They have their imperfections along with a lot of amazing qualities. And I find myself walking away with a little of the book each time I read one of them.
Korrine is a strong, beautiful woman whose entire world is shaken in one instant. I honestly don't know how I could deal with what she goes through in the book and still come out stronger. I loved following her story and seeing how she put the pieces of her life and her heart back together.
Now to Galen. He's just amazing. I love how he's always held a torch for Korrine, but that he acknowledges she has a past and a piece of her heart will never be his. I love the amazing support he gives her, but that he doesn't allow her to fall into a rut. He sure knows how to show a girl that he loves her and that she's important to him. I loved "watching" these two reconnect.
